All Nursing Schools
A comprehensive resource for U.S. Nursing School Programs,
Nurse Education and Nursing Careers

Nichole Eglian LPN (soon to be RN) is the founder of the
NFLPN Student Honor Society

The National Federation of Licensed Practical Nurses, Inc. offers a recognition program for PN students who achieve a 3.0 or B average following their second semester and with program faculty recommendation. Student membership in the NFLPN is required in order for students to receive these awards.

Nichole Eglian LPN is the founder of the NFLPN Student Honor Society. Recipients receive a special certificate of recognition and an attractive lapel pin. Additionally, recipients are listed in the "Honor Society Achievement Award" section in the quarterly publication and posted on our website.

In addition to recognizing the students who achieve this level, Practical Nurse Educators may also receive a certificate of recognition upon faculty request and her/his name will be listed in the NFLPN publication and website along with the students name, school, city/state.

Requests for Recognition Guidelines:
Schools wishing to participate in the “Honor Society” Recognition program may forward requests to NFLPN via mail, fax, or email. Please indicate membership number if available so status can be verified. Requests should be on Facility letterhead or from faculty email accounts, indicate the School, Program description, Date of graduation or completion, student name as to be listed on the certificate and member number. Schools wishing to recognize PN educators should include the name and credentials for those individuals as well.

Students who are not current members must become members at time of request. Payment of $25 per student for membership must be received with request either paid for by the school or the student. You may submit membership inquiry prior to formal request for recognition if needed. Please allow at least 30 business days prior to any ceremony for processing and mailing. You may then present their award during graduation or other appropriate time of your choice.

As you are aware, membership in the professional association representing your chosen profession is a great value and an excellent way to continue to keep informed about nursing information and health care issues. Thank you for encouraging your students to become involved by belonging to their professional association! Schools that promote NFLPN would also benefit from our Affiliate membership to stay well informed.

Please take a moment to share this information with your PN students and faculty. Call our national office at (919) 779-0046 or e-mail nflpn@mgmt4u.com with questions.

Cordially,
Ottamissiah Moore, LPN
NFLPN President
